Dr. Carolyn Smith has lived over a decade with combined groups of mental disorder. Through her living, writing, and teaching she has made herself available to an unchanging and faithful God to be used as a positive voice for hopefulness in this forever changing and uncertain world. Carolyn holds two Masters Degrees one, in Special Education and another one in Counseling/Psychology along with a doctoral in Philosophy with a Specialization in Human Services. For nearly 19 years; three days a week Carolyn has volunteer her service as a patient advocate at Baptist Memorial-Hospital-Golden Triangle. Dr. Smith is the author of: The Impact of Religion and Spirituality in the lives of African American Women: A generic Qualitative Study published by ProQuest LLL (2013) which can be read on Google Website. Carolyn has just finished her third book but she is a published author of two books Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ & experience the supernatural power of God: A victorious journey living with mental disorders and What do you have that God can use: A book of faith. Currently residing in Columbus, MS with her husband Kenneth Smith, together the couple has five children and seven grandchildren. She is a Sunday school teacher at South Side Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Rayfield Evins, Jr.
